I met Airick after a bus ride home; he was about to start hitch-hiking towards his next destination when Cassie picked me up. I told him he could come stay the night at my friends place in a trailer. We talked about aliens and our place in the universe till about 4 AM. The next morning we drove him back to the bus station where he was about to take a bus further north and then catch freight trains out west to British Columbia.
I wonder if i will ever see him again.
One of the realest people i ever met.
The first photo ever taken of our car.
it started with a vision. a thought that passed through my mind:
what if we just left … went away without a plan.
in this car.
this blog was originally meant to document a trip that never took place.
what was supposed to represent two young people looking for something…
but for now it’s documenting my ideas and thoughts…eventually leading up to whatever it is that i’m after. that final moment.
i wrote these following words a year ago, after the derailment of the vision:
a dream that was partially lost. but never gone.
because dreams don’t just go away.
you don’t just forget about them when they fall away.
you recycle them, reinvent them, but the same intentions always remain.
dreams stay with you until they are being lived or until you die -thats it.
and even then who’s to say you wont remember them in your next life……
